Give to Lincoln Day is a giving day event that encourages you to contribute to Lincoln and Lancaster County nonprofit organizations between May 1st and May 30th. Give to Lincoln Day is coordinated by Lincoln Community Foundation, in partnership with local nonprofit organizations. Every donation makes a bigger impact on Give to Lincoln Day because nonprofits also get a proportional share of a $500,000 match fund made possible by LCF and generous sponsors. There truly is no place like Nebraska, and there's no race quite like Cornfield Cornfield. The race captures all things Nebraska in one event, from a true hometown race complete with watermelon, sweetcorn + cold beer after the race. Join us for one epic time!

The Fraternal Order of Eagles #147 of Lincoln will be holding their 6th annual charity poker run on Saturday, July 13th 2024 to benefit the Eksoskeleton Project which helps veterans with spinal cord injuries to walk during rehab. Registration is from 10 A.M. to Noon on July 13th at Frontier Harley Davidson, 205 Northwest 40th Street in Lincoln with stops at Clatonia, Fairbury, Wilber and end at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 147 in Lincoln by 4:30 P.M. for winners and door prizes. ALL VEHICLES ARE WELCOME. Since 2017 the National Fraternal Order of Eagles Eksoskeleton Project has donated 6 Ekso bionic suits at a cost of $150,000 each to veterans rehab centers including 3 in Lincoln and Omaha. The Good Life Halfsy is more than a half marathon. It’s a fun-filled weekend celebrating Nebraska and its people, landmarks, icons and culture. There’s something special about this place and we’re running through the streets of Lincoln to let the secret out. And if you’re not from the good life state, we welcome you to visit. You’ll find it to be one of the friendliest places around with surprises around every turn. Some would call it a half marathon. We call it the Halfsy. Join us!
