Order Your Christmas Gifts Early. 'Cuz You're Gonna Wait

By News Oct 22, 2020 | 5:33 AM

If you’re one of the people who placed their orders for Christmas through Amazon Walmart, Target, etc., then you might not have to wait as long.

Unfortunately, those who have services with expedited shipping may not get their orders in the most timely a fashions. The reason, fedex and UPS have said the majority but their shipping capacity has already been reached. Oh, and if you think you’re going to use DHL or USPS, they are in the same position.

Every year there is a problem with the number of packages being delivered and the amount of space that’s available. For example, last year there were 67 million packages that needed to be delivered, but only space for 65 million.  Meaning that a little over 2 million packages didn’t make it to the orders location on time. This year there is going to be a little over 85 million packages that need to be delivered, but only space for around 79 million. By the math, you guessed it, there’s going to be a little over 6 million packages that will not arrive on time.

Long story short, it might be wise to jump on the Christmas bandwagon early and placed orders now, cause who knows how long it’s going to take to get them.
