Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters just celebrated the 25th anniversary of the release of the first Foo Fighters album. It’s well known that Dave was writing what would become parts of that first Foo album while he was in Nirvana, and that after Kurt’s death he traveled Ireland and thought about getting out of music all together. Dave did an interview with Apple Music for the album anniversary and talked about how Kurt Cobain’s death affected his writing for the record.
