Tornadoes in Oklahoma aren’t unfamiliar territory. Native Americans have dealt with them long before they shared the land with the settlers of the time. They even warned those who came about tornadoes.
That bring up Pecos Hank, who is a storm chaser, and he was in Madrill, OK when a tornado formed and ripped through the town. Storm chasers are a rare breed. They will take risks that most of us would never even think of. When the Emergency Alert goes off (which you will hear in the video), we are supposed to find shelter and protect ourselves, storm chasers will get closer and study the storm…and that includes tornadoes. As you will see in this video, the bigger this storm gets, the closer Pacos Hank gets. Then, as quickly as it came in, it goes back in to the sky.
As you watch the Church of Christ being ripped apart, sadly one person lost their life and numerous people were injured. It is a good reminder, as we get in to the Spring time of year, tornadoes are something to take very seriously.
