Former Husker Ndamukong Suh Named to NFL 2010s All-Decade Team

A former Husker who was one of the best to every play collegiate football has been recognized as one of the best in the National Football League for the past decade.

Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team Monday. Suh is the only Husker to make the list.

The second overall pick in 2010 by the Lions, Suh spent the first five seasons of his career in Detroit before signing with Miami for the next three. In 2018 he signed with the Rams before heading to the Buccaneers in 2019. He is currently on contract with Tampa Bay for 2020. Over his 10-year career, Suh has 542 tackles and 63.5 sacks in 164 career games, including the postseason.

One of the most dominant players to ever put on a Husker uniform, Suh was a Heisman Trophy finalist and All-American in 2009 while also winning the Lombardi Award, Nagurski Trophy, and Bednarik Award. While in Lincoln, he accumulated 215 tackles, 57 for loss, and 24 sacks. He had single-game highs of 12 total tackles, 10 solo tackles, 4.5 sacks, and seven tackles for loss all in the 2009 Big 12 Championship game against Texas.
